Acceptance into the training is per application. Please note that extensive previous yoga experience is NOT a requirement as our training is both thorough and comprehensive. We are, however, looking for a sincere interest, a readiness to receive and digest what is taught, and the commitment to be immersed in learning and practice once you start the training.

We will be holding an INFORMATION MEETING at 4pm on Sunday 8th August at the Leederville studio- 220 Carr Pl, Leederville WA.

The Teacher Training and your own self-practice are two separate things. We do not believe that self-practice alone is sufficient to become a yoga teacher. On the other hand, you need to look at the training as a framework to energetically charge with your own practice. How much practice you do is your personal decision. Our experience is that daily practice over decades is what forms a yogi. The more you practice the more authentic your teaching will become.

You will need some form of supervised practice, including the receiving of adjustments in the poses, to be able to assist in Level 3 classes and learn to adjust others.

The price for a one-year teacher training is AUD$3295. 8 Limbs' trainees receive a concession price on all classes visited. On the days when you are assisting no class fee is due. Saturday classes are free for trainees. You may repeat as many non-Intensive Beginners Courses as you wish free of charge.
