Monica practices a variety of gentle, low-force chiropractic techniques and soft-tissue therapies, including Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), Applied Kinesiology (AK), Activator Method, Webster Technique, Dry Needling and Gua Sha. She specialises in the prescription of rehabilitation exercises to compliment the yoga practice. Her 30 years of yoga experience make her ideally suited to help yoga students with their health and wellbeing. Monica focuses on all aspects of health: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Her vast experience, insight and genuinely caring nature inspire healing of body, mind and spirit.
Monica is the co-founder and director of 8 Limbs Ashtanga Yoga and trains all 8 Limbs' teachers in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, rehabilitation and teaching and communication skills. She works as a chiropractor at Odin Road Chiropractic Clinic in Innaloo.
Monica graduated with 1st class honors from Murdoch University in 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Chiropractic and has twice been awarded the Vice Chacellor's Commendation for Academic Excellence, as well as an award for Excellence in Diagnositc Imaging.
Monica is a member of the Chiropractor's Association of Australia, The Australian Spinal Research Foundation, The International Chiropractic Paediatric Association and the Sacral Occipital Technique Association Australasia.
